How much does AI automation cost for a small business?
+
Stout Intel services run from $100/hr consulting and a $100 refundable strategy session up to $25k for a full custom platform build. Most automation projects, like CRM automation or an AI chatbot, land between $1,500 and $9,000 as a one-time build with optional monthly maintenance. Every service page lists its real price range.
Can you keep our CRM updated automatically?
+
Yes. Our flagship build reads the Slack channels or inboxes your team already uses and keeps Pipedrive (or your CRM) current on its own: creating deals when real work appears, matching by project or PO number, appending notes, and advancing stages. Reps sell; the CRM maintains itself.
Do you work with promotional products distributors?
+
That is our home turf. Logan spent years in distributor sales, so we build automation for the real workflows: order status tracking, quoting at protected margin, supplier follow-up, CommonSKU and ShipStation data flows, and CRM upkeep. See the promo distributor page for the full playbook.
What is included in the $100 strategy session?
+
A full hour one-on-one with Logan to map your operations, find the highest-leverage automation opportunities, and leave with a clear action plan. The $100 is a refundable deposit: it applies to your project if we work together, and is refunded if we cannot deliver value.
Do you work remotely or only in Utah?
+
Both. Stout Intel is based in Salt Lake City and serves clients across the US remotely. For deeper engagements there is an on-site operator option where Logan embeds with your team in person.
What tools do you integrate with?
+
Claude and the Anthropic API, Slack, Pipedrive, Notion, Supabase, CommonSKU, ShipStation, Google Workspace, Make.com, Twilio, ElevenLabs voice agents, Stripe, and more: 50 platforms integrated across 39 shipped builds. If your stack is not on the list, that is usually a quick adapter, not a blocker.
What does an AI consultant actually do?
+
We find the manual work that eats your team’s hours (data entry, status chasing, quoting, reporting), then design and build AI systems that do that work automatically. You get working software wired into your real tools, documentation, and training, not a slide deck.
